Circuit Information Settings
Configure and manage the core details of your circuit, including description and website URL.
Circuit Information Settings
This section allows you to view and update the fundamental metadata of your circuit.
Navigating to Circuit Information
- From the top navigation bar, click your avatar and select Settings.
- In the settings menu on the left, choose Circuit Information.
A header will remain at the top showing your circuit name and owner, and the Circuit Information form will appear on the right.
Fields
Description
- A resizable textarea where you can provide a detailed description of what your circuit does.
- Up to ten lines by default, but you can expand vertically as needed.
- Any change here will activate the Save Changes button.
Website URL
- A single-line input for linking to external documentation, project pages, or other resources.
- Must be a valid URL (e.g.,
https://example.com). - Editing this field will also enable Save Changes.
Saving Your Updates
- After making edits, click Save Changes at the bottom of the form.
- On success, a confirmation toast appears with a green checkmark icon.
- If saving fails, an error toast will notify you of the issue.
- Once saved, the form returns to its disabled state until further edits are made.
Permissions
- Only the circuit owner or collaborators with write permissions can modify these settings.
- Users without permissions will see this page in read-only mode (no Save Changes button).
