Profile Settings

The Profile Settings page allows you to customize and manage your personal information visible to the community. Here you can update your name, bio, company details, social network links, and upload or remove your avatar.

Accessing Profile Settings

1. Click on your avatar in the top navigation bar.
2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
3. Choose Profile from the left-hand menu.

General Information

• Name: Your full name or display name. This helps others recognize you on the platform.
• Bio: A brief description about yourself (up to 1000 characters). Use this to share your background, expertise, or interests.

Tip: Keep your bio concise and informative to make it easy for others to understand who you are.

Additional Details

Under General Information, you can also provide:

• Website: Link to your personal or company website.
• Company: Your current organization or affiliation.
• Location: Where you are based (e.g., San Francisco, CA).

These fields help the community learn more about your professional context.

Social Networks

Listing your social profiles helps build trust and makes it easy for others to follow your updates:

• GitHub URL: Link to your public GitHub profile.
• X URL: Link to your Twitter (X) profile.
• HuggingFace URL: Link to your Hugging Face profile.

Include only the links you’re comfortable sharing publicly.

Avatar Management

Your avatar represents you visually across the platform:

1. Click Change Avatar below the preview circle.
2. Choose Upload New Photo to select an image from your device.
3. To remove your current avatar, select Remove Photo.

Supported formats are JPEG and PNG. For best results, use a square image at least 240×240 pixels.

Saving Changes

• After making any edits, click Save Changes at the bottom of the form.
• The button will be enabled once you’ve modified any field.
• A confirmation toast will appear when your updates are successfully saved.
